GALERIE OLYMP

Location

Galerie Olymp is located on Otto-Weidt-Platz in the heart of the newly developed Europacity in the centre of Berlin. The square provides the bustling district with a calm, culturalcentre. To the east of the gallery is the Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal. Within walking distance the gallery is the home of the Museum für Gegenwartskunst - Hamburger Bahnhof, which is part of the Hamburger Bahnhof, which is part of the National Gallery.

Mission

The gallery works with both its own and external curators and concentrates on contemporary art with a focus on painting. The aim is to discover, support, and promote academic artists, to provide a platform for artists and the public to exchange innovative ideas, and to build a stable collector circle of private, as well as public, individuals and institutions. The respective duration of an exhibition at Galerie Olymp is usually 4-6 weeks. The exhibitions are accompanied by various events. The gallery spaces are available for commercial art-related, as well as for non-profit, events.

The Galerie Olymp is open from Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 to 18:00.
